An AI agent answering: is this stablecoin's report current?

An AI agent asked whether a stablecoin's latest reserve report is current can answer from one read instead of a web search: the token's attestation status against its own cadence, the report month and as-of date, whether the next report is overdue, and a link to the issuer's document, so the agent cites its source rather than paraphrasing it.

What you are building

A language model answers reserve questions from whatever it last read, which is often an article months old. An agent with a tool that makes this read answers from the state at the moment it asks, and can quote the issuer, the as-of date and the source link it was given instead of reconstructing them from memory.

The fields it reads

Every field name below is the payload's own, and every figure in it is served verbatim as the issuer published it, never rounded or recomputed.

  • GET /v1/board/tokens/{symbol}

    • issuer_name
    • attestation_status
    • expected_cadence
    • cadence_basis
    • overdue
    • latest_report.report_month
    • latest_report.composition_as_of
    • latest_report.source_url

How to read it

Have the agent quote the status and the as-of date verbatim and name the issuer, rather than restating them in its own words. STALE and WITHHELD_STALE are different answers, and a failed read means the agent does not know: it should say so rather than fall back on what it remembers. The site's machine-readable index lists every page it can cite.

Try it

Query it with one curl, no key:

curl -s https://reservebeat.com/v1/board/tokens/USDC

What this data does not tell you

A current report answers when the issuer last published, not whether its reserve is adequate or its figures are right. An agent that turns this status into a verdict on the issuer is saying something the data does not. The status is a fact about publishing on schedule, and nothing more.
